I am a jeweller & hatmaker based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
I work mainly with copper & focus on colour & texture by both adding texural detail & patina to the metal & by combining with other metals & materials such as rubber, textiles or leather.
Each piece is subtly different & I regularly incorporate new designs into my range of work.
I make soft stitched hats using high quality fabrics - mainly natural - with a strong emphasis on colour combinations & stitched details.
Most of the fabrics I use are wools or wool mix but I also enjoy the texture & sheen provided by linens & silks.
I make hats in a number of designs - beret styles - tucked beanies - neat pixie shape & brimmed.
I try to create a hat to suit every head & will happily make a hat to suit those with a smaller or larger head - I strongly believe that every head deserves a hat!!
